Other Viruses

Dahari Lab has always had a flexible approach to research and solving problems. We work globally with a relentless curiosity to produce results that solve crucial problems related to the hepatitis virus as well as contribute to the larger body of basic science. Often times this research will be used in the fight against other diseases, sometimes immediately or years later. These break throughs can happen at the intersection of public policy and science to solve a specific problem or through purely academic investigation which is central to scientific research. Ebola, Covid-19, Theiler virus (TMEV), HIV and HEV are examples of lab research with global partners that contributes to the ongoing research to manage these critical health issues. Through open investigation using data modeling and involving multidisciplinary partners, these advances are possible.
